FREE Karate Class
Kyudokan Kerry will be running a free class as part of Sports Ireland Fitness Day. The FREE one hour session will take place from 7:00 to 8:00 in Killorglin Sports Complex. Please come along and bring some friends. The class is open to men, women and children from 10 years old. This is your chance to try Traditional Okinawa Karate in Killorglin.
In addition to providing exercise and teaching self defence, Karate emphasises strong values of respect, hard work and discipline and can help improve confidence. The founder of Kyudokan, viewed karate-do as a way of improving character through regular practice. To this day we try to adhere to this teaching and ideal.

Karate Ireland National Championship
Karate Ireland National Competition will take place on 25th November 2018 in the The Sports A
rena, Abbotstown Dublin. A small delegation from the club intends to take part. The competition is held annually in Dublin and is a great opportunity to compete.
It includes individual kata, team kata, individual kumite, team kumite and kobudo competition. Competitors are divided by rank and age groups. Although Kyudokan Kerry does not see competition as a major part of its training, we would encourage each member of the club to take part.
